Teenage Rampage

  • Teenage Rampage is an evening for disabled young people aged 13-19 which meets every Tuesday during school term, 7-9pm at Odd Down Community Centre.
  • Activities they have carried out in the past include; going out for dinner, swimming, barbecues, discos, bowling, picnics, 'wild walks'  and much more.
  • Staff are all experienced in working with disabled young people as well as experienced play and youth workers who provide positive role models to young people whilst providing information and giving them opportunities to get involved with age appropriate activities and play.

Youth Club

  • Avon North Mencap run a Youth Club every Tuesday 7-9pm for young people aged 13-18yers.

Mencap Clubs

  • Three evening clubs in Keynsham, Radstock and a Saturday morning club in Bath
  • These three clubs provide various fun actvities for children aged 5-18 yrs including arts and craft, sports and games, music, dance, cooking and outings.
  • Six adult clubs for anyone aged 18 yrs and over
  • Offering activities and outings in the local community such as bowling, cinema, meals out and quiz nights, offering our members a chance to meet new friends and socialise.

Canoe Club

  • Mencap run a Canoe club once a month.
  • Ages 5-7 yrs.
  • A chance for our members to access a fun and exciting sport and work towards gaining certified recognition
  • In the winter, sessions take place at Bath University but in the summer our members take to the river at Newbridge.

WPA Saturday Club

Wansdyke Saturday Club runs at the Somer Centre at Gullock Tyning in Midsomer Norton.

The club runs 10am-2pm every Saturday and sessions cost £5 or £7.50 including lunch.

Activities include; BBQs, Swimming, Cooking, Music workshops, Bike rides, using the adventure play park and much more.
