School Trust
The Trust was set up in 2009 following Fosse Way becoming a Foundation School.
The aims of the Trust are:
- to enhance the provision offered to Fosse Way School pupils and other children and young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
- to support collaboration and establish partnerships for the benefit of pupils
- to offer education and training that enable professionals and the community to better support children and young people with learning difficulties/disabilities
- to promote community cohesion through all its activities

Trust activity:
- Support to improve knowledge and practice of Applied Behavioural Analysis (Verbal Behaviour) within school through work of Behaviour Therapists. This includes training for staff, direct work with pupils and support for staff in classrooms.
- Continuing partnership work with NAS on supported living for leavers with autism (second cohort plans underway for summer 2011).
- Research findings and implications for practice from Bristol University plus discussions about future research projects and Knowledge Transfer Partnerships.
- Developing a fundraising strategy for school.
